This is a quickly photoshop-coloured rough of something that I'm hoping to polish and work on in illustrator, I will link to updated versions of the pic as I have them done.
This took me a second, but then I made that exhalation-of-breath sound you make when you see something cool. Like: "hauuuggghh". then I laughed out loud.
Was the sketchiness of the figure intentional to help hide the chameleons? If so, it worked quite well.

Thought it was a bigfoot 'hiding' pic...took me a second to see em' but then again I can be a bit slow at times...nice setup...
